A huge forest of pine and evergreen trees that are always covered in a thick sheet of snow. You might get a bit of relief from the harsh winter winds in the forest, but it's highly unlikely. It is almost always dark in here, for the trees are overgrown and tend to not let much sunlight in. There are a few random bursts of plant life on the forest floor, but most of it is bare and covered in snow.
A massive and foreboding rocky mountain pass located on the borders of the Northern land. It is even colder up on the tops of the mountain, where snow and ice clash with winds to try and kill any living thing that ventures up to it. So far, it's worked; not one soul who has ventured to the very top of the mountain pass has ever come back alive. In fact, nobody's ever come back at all. Despite the snow at the top, the rock is a solid, slate blue color.
A frigid, vast lake filled with bits of ice, snow, and other items. There are huge glaciers and blocks of ice that float carelessly atop the deep blue waters. The water is colder than any other lake in the region, and even polar bears have a bit of a hard time getting through the water without freezing themselves to death. Whenever an animal emerges that could at least handle the cold, they do so with pleanty of frost covering their bodies.
Frequently boasted about by the Southern land inhabitants, the Ispara Glacier is probably the largest glacier in the region, maybe even in the world. It is massive and pure white, and it is always on the move, making it a very annoying landmark. Many smaller polar bear cubs like to play around the glacier, but be warned; pieces can frequently break off of the pile of ice, making it pretty dangerous to be around.
A vast valley covered in snow. It has a few small plants that grow even in the harshest conditions, but it is otherwise lifeless. A few small ponds line the area, and small ice blocks are found floating atop the waters casually. Many polar bears come in this area to hunt for food or shelter, though it is hard to find both.
An enormous, gaping canyon located a few miles off of the valley. It is very rocky, and, surprisingly, not covered completely in white snow. The rock is a dark slate blue, just like the mountains. However, winds blow harsh and constant in this area, which makes it hard to be around if you don't have high tolerance for wind. Despite this, many sources of food are available here.
A vast series of huge, gaping holes in the side of a large mountain. They are always dark, and surprisingly warm once one ventures inside. They're very roomy and large, making it a perfect place for small cubs to play and tumble around in. Very large families are able to stay inside all at once.
